For more information about the APCM, the Electoral Roll and Election to PCC membership, please read on

The APCM is an important meeting in the church's calendar as it is your opportunity to hear about the work of the parish during the last year - its activities, finances, mission partners and charities, fabric and buildings - and to learn about future plans - there will be reports from all groups covering the many and varied areas within the church.  It is also the time when the Church Wardens and PCC will be elected for the forthcoming year - come along and take an active part in how your church is run.

Electoral Roll—The Electoral Roll is the Church of England equivalent of a membership list. Once every six years a new Electoral Roll is compiled and this was done in 2013. The next will be done this year. Only people on the Electoral Roll are entitled to vote at the APCM. You are entitled to be on the Roll if you are baptised and aged 16 or over and either are a member of the Church of England or any Church in communion with the Church of England being resident in the parish or (not being resident in the parish) have habitually attended public worship in the parish during the six months prior to the application for enrolment. If you are not sure whether you are already on the Electoral Roll, a copy is on the notice-board. If you are not already on the Electoral Roll please fill in a form (which will be available at the back of church in due course) and hand it to Rev Stewart Gibss who will arrange for your name(s) to be added after the APCM meeting on 29 April.

Election to PCC Membership: The PCC is the church’s elected leadership committee. If you wish to stand for election to the PCC, you need to be on the Electoral Roll and have taken communion at least three times in the past year in the Church of England. Nominations forms are available at the back of church and need to be completed and either given in advance to Stewart Gibbs or before the commencement of the APCM meeting.
